So the Psalmist didn't have a squash vine in mind when they wrote this Psalm about a vine, it was a grape vine instead, but I think it fits. As the days are growing colder and filled with less sunlight, I'm anxiously waiting to see if these beautiful squash are going to fully ripen. They're just about there. I want God to tend this vine and preserve what has been planted so that we may enjoy its fruitfulness just as I want God to preserve and protect my life and those around me so that everyone may also enjoy their fruitfulness. May you feel the God of hosts look down from heaven upon you this day preserving and protecting your life.
