Psalms in the world ... Psalm 85

For the season of Advent, we're going to be recording our weekly "Psalms in the world" pieces in the sanctuary of the church. We will always feature the Advent Candles but the position and nature of the camera shot may change.
There is just something about Advent that belongs in the sanctuary. Hearing those time honored prophets, longing for God to enter in, the beauty of the royal blue against the wood and much more. We hope that this is meaningful to you as you experience these time honored words anew. May it indeed, as the psalmist today declares, restore us to God's purposes in the world. Psalms in the world ... Psalm 80
This is the assigned Psalm for Reign of Christ Sunday (aka Christ the King). What does it mean to acknowledge Christ as the true ruler of our lives? How would we look at this area in which we live differently? How should we?
