Psalms in the world ... Psalm 34

Gobble, gobble! Good afternoon everyone. I don't know what it is that drew me to these turkeys underneath our tree, perhaps it is because they are wild and free, perhaps its the psalmist saying we should "taste and see that the LORD is good" (though I've heard these aren't very good eating) or maybe its just because I'm trapped in my house on quarantine. In anycase, may we hear the words of the Psalmist anew as we hear the promises he/she articulates for the saints of the Lord. Sunday is All Saints Day - who are your saints?

Psalms in the world ...

What is it that invites you to no longer be "in want?" In this world and these days of so much "want," what is it that lets you know you have enough? What does enough look like for you? I sometimes have to stop and just realize and appreciate the beauty of the world around us to see God's providence in our world. May you do so with this reading and this Psalm today.
